The location was incredibly convenient, being just a short walk from major attractions like Kushida Shrine and Nakahie Park. I appreciated the spacious room, especially as a family traveler, providing plenty of room to relax. The highlight was the breakfast with a delightful mix of international and local dishes that fueled our sightseeing adventures each day. The large windows did require some effort to open, which could be challenging, but overall, it was a really enjoyable stay.

Plot twist, it’s actually great!
We had a fantastic experience with spacious rooms and amazing shower options. The convenient location near Hakata station made traveling easy. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, including early check-in. A standout feature was the large windows that flooded our room with light, creating a warm atmosphere.

unique lobby view, spacious bathtub, convenient location
The window knobs are placed way too high for easy access!!! It requires unnecessary effort to open them safely, especially for older guests. Also, housekeeping's limited replenishment was a hassle during my stay!!!

Loved the clean and modern design at Basics Fukuoka. The well-furnished room had a comfy bed, though it's a bit overly soft for my taste. I appreciated the free gift for opting out of room cleaning. Breakfast was impressive with a mix of international and traditional options, and the staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome. However, I wish there were more pillow options available since the one I had didn’t provide enough support. The gym had decent equipment, but I'd prefer the addition of free weights. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with minor inconveniences to note.

The location was convenient, just a short walk from major attractions and I found the staff to be courteous, always ready to help when I needed assistance. The free Wi-Fi in the room was a lifesaver, keeping me connected during my stay and allowing me to work seamlessly.
It wasn't inexpensive , but still acceptable for what I received.
